Welcome to Animal Adjustments!

Dr. Martin’s interests in chiropractic were found early during vet school. Unfortunately it was not taught there, but it was something she thought would be a useful tool in practice someday. She knew from day one that traditional western medicine had its limits and there had to be more available to help animals improve their chronic conditions and quality of life. With that in mind, Dr. Martin enrolled in the Parker Chiropractic College’s Animal Chiropractic Program in 2007.

She enjoys the challenges that come with practicing chiropractic on small animals and the benefits her patients reap.  Dr. Martin has of improving each individual animal’s health and quality of life. Over time she would like to expand her practice to include more physical therapy and rehabilitation to go along with chiropractic for whole animal wellness.

This site is in place to give examples of how chiropractic care helps animals in much the same way as it helps humans.

Willie

Willie presented in August of 2007 for euthanasia due to loss of feeling and movement in his rear limbs.  These videos are before adjustment, after first adjustment, and after a month of chiropractic care.

Henry

We feared the worst when our Dachshund, Henry, began to have back problems. He completely lost the use of his back legs and was in obvious pain and discomfort. We discussed options with our Vet, and for us…surgery was not one of them. We were very interested in Henry seeing a chiropractor, our Vet suggested that we contact Dr. Martin for treatment. Were we ever so glad that we did. AMAZING RESULTS! Within two weeks after his first adjustment, he regained movement and some use of his back legs. Two weeks later, he is very close to being completely recovered. He is keeping up with our two other dogs, going on walks and even going for a swim in our pool. We are very grateful for Dr. Martins’ work with Henry and would recommend her to anyone going through anything similar with their pets.
